Admissions Process

Welcome to Oasis International School of Ankara, Turkey. We want the admissions process for you and your child to move in a smooth and timely fashion. To help make that possible, we are providing you with a general outline of our admissions process.

Step 1: Determine Eligibility

Students must possess a foreign (i.e., non-Turkish) passport and be able to obtain a Turkish residence permit to enroll at Oasis.

Step 2: Contact our Admissions Counselor

Email or phone our counselor, Stacey Leonard, to receive more information, ask questions, or schedule a campus tour: staceyleonard@oisankara.net or +90 (312) 285-7524.

  • Inform our counselor about any special needs your child may have (e.g., limited English proficiency, learning disabilities, or medical needs).

Step 3: Submit an Application

Complete and submit our enrollment application, along with the required documents listed below, via our online application linked above.

You will be asked to upload the following supporting documents:

  • child's passport

  • child's residence permit (if you have it at this time; it will be required for enrollment)

  • recent photo

  • at least 2 years of previous school report cards, translated into English if necessary

  • name and email address of a current teacher or principal for a reference

  • childhood vaccination record

  • standardized test results, if any

  • reports documenting special needs, if any

Step 4: Admissions Testing (if needed)

Have your child complete admissions testing (if needed), which will be determined by the admissions counselor.

Step 5: Acceptance Decision

Completed applications (all documents submitted, teacher reference received, and testing completed) are presented to the Admissions Committee for review. The committee's acceptance decision is then communicated to the family via email from the Admissions Counselor.

Step 6: Pay the Capital Fee

Pay the Capital Fee to confirm and reserve your child's place at Oasis.

Step 7: Registration

Agree to follow the guidelines in the Parent / Student Handbook.


Receive a login to the school management system (Sycamore).


Complete any supplemental forms (e.g., medical information form, liability release form, elective / Bible class form, etc.).
